John "Johnny" Adams

Charles City-John W. Adams, III, “Johnny” was reunited with his parents, John W. Adams, Jr. and Nan Watkins Adams in their heavenly home on December 16, 2009. Johnny leaves behind in body, but not spirit, his Buddy, best friend, soul mate, and wife, Krista Michelle Adams. He also leaves his daughter, Amanda Adams-Brown (Sammy); two sisters, Debra Dzula (Walter) and Laura Ann Key (Kevin); and his brother, Jimmy Adams (Becky); his nephews, Josh Key and Billy Taylor; and his nieces, Peggy Bryant, Beth Dzula, Jacqueline and Allison Adam.Johnny loved life, family, friends, bluegrass music, and being close to Krista. Homecoming services will be held at Memorial United Methodist Church, 11000 Courthouse Road, Charles City, Va., 23030 on December 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Darcey Johnson of Memorial United Methodist Church will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m., Sunday, December 20, 2009, also at the church. Johnny will be laid to rest in the family plot at Chapel Cemetery in Charles City. Johnny requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Chapel Cemetery Fund, c/o Memorial United Methodist Church, 11000 Courthouse Road, Charles City, Va., 23030. parents, John W.
