Russell William Wallace

On Monday January 11th, 2021, Russell William Wallace beloved son, brother, father and friend of Providence Forge, passed away at the age of 40. Russ was born on November 29th, 1980 to Cody Wallace and Annette Suarez in West Virginia. Russ was a proud member of The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) where he made many close friends that were like family to him. Russ was proud of the work he did for Miller Lighthouse, at the upcoming Facebook plant in Sandston. He was very proud of his work, school, and to be able to have the opportunities they gave him. Russ had a passion for hunting and fishing; he loved to be outside with music playing. Russ loved to be with his family and friends and smiled 100% of the time he was with them. Russ enjoyed many trips to the Outer Banks with his step Father and brother-in-law where he would fish from sunrise to sundown. Russ’s favorite night of the week was his sister’s Taco Tuesdays, when she always made sure he had plenty of his favorite tomatoes, no matter if she was aggravated with him or not. Russ loved to listen to his son talk about what level he was playing in Fortnite, even though he had no idea what any of it meant. Russ spent many of his nights with his phone in hand reaching out and taking selfies to send to his girlfriend. He would text her every minute she wasn’t beside him. Russ loved the last few years of his life because he got to be with the woman whom he loved most in this world, his mom. Russ did everything with a full heart; he loved with 100% of his heart, he cared with 100% of his heart, and he smiled with 100% of his heart. When people think of Russ, they think of his smile and they can’t help but smile too. Russ is survived by his son, Gabe Wallace, who he loved more than anything; his mother who he looked up to, Annette Suarez; his step father who was his biggest supporter, Mike Suarez; his father who he loved, Cody Wallace; his sister who he was so proud of, Jessica Stanley; the brother he wished he had gotten instead of a sister, Chris Stanley; his loving girlfriend who he wanted nothing but greatness for, Mary Burg; his grandmother who he loved very much, Dorothy Tanner; his beloved niece, Cameryn Stanley; his best friend of 20 years, Sam Tom; and many more friends.
