John Edward Englehart Jr.

May 5, 1996 - June 6, 2022

John Edward Englehart, Jr., 26, of Henrico, passed unexpectedly Monday June 6, 2022. “Johnny” as he was affectionately known, loved the outdoors and living on the edge. Anything involving being outside was right up his alley. If he wasn’t hunting, he was fishing. If he wasn’t cutting grass, he was going around taking note of who needed to cut theirs! He was a fan of sports and loved cheering on his Redskins during football and the Cardinals during baseball season. Johnny was a 2014 graduate from Varina High School. He also attended Laurel Hill United Methodist Church where he shared in his love of Christ with the congregation. Johnny was a caring and hardworking person. He had a heart of gold that sought to genuinely bring a smile to your face. He could crack a joke out of nowhere that would have you in stitches for hours. Even if you didn’t think you needed a laugh, Johnny would deliver and life just felt better. His goofy nature and teddy bear traits, made him a natural delight around children, especially with his nieces and nephews. Johnny's smile and presence will be missed by all who loved him. Johnny is survived by his parents, Amy Paschal (Josh) and John Englehart (Marisa); his siblings, Jacob Englehart (Graceson), Branden Paschal, Jennifer Autry (Michael), Jonathan Diaz (Marina) and Dalton McMillan (Amanda); his grandparents, Ron and Dale Dixon, Timothy and Sandra Reynolds, Leonard Kantrowitz and Tresa Jones; his aunts, Danielle, Tiffany, Tabatha and Michelle and his uncles, Sean, Gunnar, Ryan and Michael. Johnny is also survived by a dear and close friend Britney, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his four-legged companion, Cha Cha, the chocolate lab! The family will receive friends from 3pm-5pm, Sunday June 12, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. A memorial service will be held 2PM, Monday June 13, 2022 at Laurel Hill United Methodist Church, 1919, New Market Rd, Richmond, VA 23231.
