Julian Terry Lipscomb, Sr. was called home Saturday, 18 June, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years - Ritchie, sons Terry (wife Kelley, grandchildren Logan, Evan and Makenzie, great-grandchildren Colton and Beau) and Scott (wife Olivia, grandchildren Riley and Ross). Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, New Kent County Supervisor, former President and owner of the Lipscomb Hardware Store, Master Sergeant in the US Army and Army National Guard; Julian enriched the lives of many within the county of New Kent, Virginia as well as without. An astute historian, Julian’s encyclopedic knowledge of Virginia history, New Kent history and Virginia Codes is only surpassed by the void left in the social fabric of society within New Kent County. Julian will be sorely missed by many. The visitation will be held at Vincent’s Funeral Home, Providence Forge, Friday, 24 June at 4-8pm and the funeral will be held at Saint Peter’s Church, New Kent Saturday, 25 June at 11am with fellowship following. In lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Peter’s Church.
