Keith Darnell Greene was born on October 7, 1961, to the late Oliver and Sarah Greene. On Dec. 4, 2021, God whispered, “come with me my child, your work here is done”. He confessed Christ as his personal Savior and joined Parrish Hill Baptist Church. Keith was employed with the Charles city County Department of Public Works for many years. Keith was a caring and loving person who always was the life of the party. You could find him cheering on his favorite football team, playing softball or on the dance floor enjoying life. He always had a smile on his face and a funny word to say. Keith never met a stranger. Continuing to hold on to these precious memoires are his sons, Keith Brooks (Charlotte), Steven Brooks, Keith Greene Jr., and Malik Greene; his three grandchildren, Keith Brooks Jr., Kendrick Brooks, and Iynana Brooks; brother, Thomas Green; his sister, Sarah Greene; five nieces, one devoted Darice Greene; seven great nieces, one devoted Keara Greene; three great nephews; aunts, Alberta Black and Dorothy Brown; cousins, one devoted Cassandra Brown, and many friends including John Adkins. A funeral service will be held 1PM Friday, December 10, 2021, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. A visitation will be held from 2PM-6PM Thursday, December 9, 2021, at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at the Parrish Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
