Mildred Allen Hodges, 93, of Barhamsville, VA passed away January 16, 2019. She was a life-long member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband John (Jack) Hodges, her children Patsy Gill, Barbara Sturtz and John (Whitey) Hodges. Mildred is survived by two daughters Ruby Martin of Pittsville, VA and Gloria Richardson of Barhamsville, VA; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 19th at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 20051 Tabernacle Road, Barhamsville, VA 23011. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, VA 23181. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Tabernacle United Methodist Church, (Address above) or Riverside Hospice, 12420 Warwick Blvd, Suite 6E, Newport News, VA 23606.
