Thomas B. “Sawmill” Meeks, of Charles City, Va. passed away June 23, 2018. Sawmill was a man’s man, a very rugged person who loved nature, dogs and being in the wild. He loved life, people and telling stories. He will be missed by all who knew him. Sawmill is survived by his wife, Valerie Meeks; his two brothers, Allen and Russell Meeks; his sister, Shirley; his brother-in-law, Smitty Smith; his sister-in-law, Nadine Kirby (Earl) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. The family will receive friends Thursday 5-8 PM at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. A memorial service will be held at a later date. T
