Ciarra Annmarie Robinson

Ciarra Annmarie “Cee” Robinson was born on March 11, 1985 in Richmond, Virginia. She departed this life on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. Cee, was presented to the Lord in dedication at First Bethel Baptist Church in Varina, Virginia, and later baptized at Gilfield Baptist Church in Charles City, Virginia. She attended First Born Christian Academy where she learned to play the piano. At the age of 4, Ciarra continued her musical education at Dreams Factory/Xiang Clara Li Studio in Richmond, Virginia. She received high musical achievement in National Federation Festivals receiving Superior Ratings, in piano solo awards and recognized as a Jazz Musician and local member during nation auditions at the age of 11. Cee, graduated from Charles City Public Schools with honors as a National Honors Society inductee, continued her education at Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia. Then, later transferred to Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia as a Tau Sigma Transfer Honor Society Member. As a student Cee maintained the Dean’s List for both schools and graduated Magna Cum Laude receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree which was presented from the first class of L. Douglas Wilder School Of Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University. Ciarra enjoyed shopping, going to the movies, going out to eat, and listening to music. Ciarra was preceded in death by her brother Jarrett “Light Bulb” Robinson. She is survived by her loving parents, Welton Ernest Robinson and Bridget Christian Robinson; her devoted God Parents (Aunt and Uncle) Charlie and Betty Robinson. Devoted Uncles and Aunts; Robert and Janet Cotman, and Calvin Crawley (Vickie), her devoted grandmother, Ann J. Robinson; two sisters Nicole Jones-Jones (Mario),and Diamond Brown; two brothers Cosey Robinson and Welton (Redd) Jones (Akina); aunts and uncles, Cookie Wallace(Charles), Irving Paige (Betty), Carl Robinson (Winnie), Lola Fitzgerald, Daryl Smith, Margaret Walker, Patricia Hopson (Joe), Evelyn Robinson, and Ralph Hairston; Great Aunt; Norris Crawley, Great Uncle; Jessie Christian(Inge) two nieces, Janee’ Alston and Destiny Jones; two nephews, Jordan Robinson and Jaiden Jones. Brothers- at- heart, Lonta Smith and Keith Cotman. Sister- at-heart Chanell Christian. As well as a host of other relatives and devoted friends. A funeral service will be held 1PM Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Gilfield Baptist Church, 6640 Church Ln, Charles City, VA 23030. A visitation will be Monday, November 4, 2019 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. Interment to follow service, in church cemetery.
